How To Apply !important To Style Using Jquery
Here we consider how to apply !important to style using jquery.
Normally !important is used to forcefully apply style in css.
Style can be added in jquery using following methods.
1. attr - $('#divID').attr('style', ' color : blue' ); -- First Method
2. addClass - $('#divID').addClass('className') -- Second Method
Here className is as follows.
.className {
color : blue;
}
So lets consider how we can force to apply Style using !important.
1. attr - $('#divID').attr('style', ' color : blue !important' ); -- First Method
2. addClass - $('#divID').addClass('className') -- Second Method
Here className is as follows.
.className {
color : blue !important;
}
We have to add !important just beside the Style value as shown above.
This will force the current style to be applied.
